💙 When you think about the value of my paintings, please keep in mind that they’re not mass produced generic here. Each one is a lovely little piece of original fine art, that we can show off in a frame or mail to someone special. Pretty neat. No comparison.
💙 At a recent art association meeting, I was enthralled with a demonstration by the talented watercolorist Mr. Steve Griggs. In addition to watching his painting come alive right before our eyes, he spoke a pearl of wisdom that is now permanently imbedded in my heart and soul. The idea is that artists of all persuasion receive a very special individual gift from the universe. Sharing your talent, sending your art out into the world, is a uniquely personal response, a sort of continuation of creation. It’s rather humbling, yet uplifting and enabling. No competition. Go for it as only you can!
